I see pictures are going to be the sneak-attack struggle part of this challenge! Cell phone camera apps....the new evil. Anyway, I spun another sample of the same merino fiber from day 1, and I spun it closer to a sport/dk weight yarn. I still do not like these colors plied together. I like the colors, they are very outside my comfort zone, I usually do subtle, this is the exact opposite of subtle. And the cell camera does not do the colors justice. The orange and teal are very vibrant!
In the image below; day 1 is the fatter yarn in the back, and day 2 is the skinnier yarn in the front. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this fiber at this point, I'm leaning towards core spinning it, which will make it look like a chunky singles yarn and the colors will stay vibrant and clear.
I don't know what I'm spinning tomorrow, but I'll see you tomorrow and we'll both be surprised.
